I was born and raised on a sheep farm in Edendale, Southland, but I am now based in Queenstown. I am a self taught photographer specialising in landscape and abstract photography. It is perhaps the fact that I am self taught that allows me to capture strikingly unique images that may have been missed by the trained eye. I believe my images are characterized by their focus on detail, texture, colour and original composition.

I shoot all of my scenes on a 35mm Nikon SLR and use Fuji Velvia transparency film. The images within this site are a small selection of some of my favourite images from my ever expanding library. Every image is for sale, as a print, framed in handmade frames made by myself or printed on a stretched canvas. Framing and pricing information is contained within the framing section of this site.
