Mana and Dennis Hopper – 2 Great Books

I recently bought a couple of amazing books. If you get a chance, I highly recommend you add them to your collection.

Mana

A photographic essay of 140 stunning black and white images by Nick Danziger as he spent a season following the All Blacks through New Zealand in 2010. This is a never seen before insight into the men in black, from game time, to buses, hotels and training fields. Captured on 35mm film with a variety of wide angle lenses, the grainy, rawness of Danziger’s work really draws you in. And the really cool thing about this book, all proceeds go to KidsCan. I bought my copy from Mighty Ape.

Dennis Hopper Photographs 1961-1967

During the 1960’s, Dennis Hopper carried a camera everywhere—on film sets and locations, at parties, in diners, bars and galleries, driving on freeways and walking on political marches. He photographed movie idols, pop stars, writers, artists, girlfriends, and complete strangers. These are those photos, spanning 546 pages as a fantastic hard cover book.
